Ecstatic Dance Foothills creates connection and brings people together through movement in sacred and ecstatic ways. An enriching space for community to gather for connection to self, spirit and others through musical weavings of all genres. A place to be held, seen and supported, to dance and be danced within the great mystery.

For those of you who are not familiar with Ecstatic Dance, It is a safe and fun space to express yourself through movement in whatever way feels right. It is whatever you make it… From the Ecstatic Dance website:

~COMMUNITY GUIDELINES~

CONVERSATION FREE SPACE - to honor each individuals process we humbly request no talking on the dance floor, Please carry your conversations outside.
CONSENT/BODY AWARENESS- We encourage consensual interaction and connection on the dancefloor. Please be mindful and sensitive when initiating contact, use deep listening and body awareness. This means looking and feeling into the other persons 'YES'
Some suggestions for non verbal ways to initiate connection are: mirroring their dance moves, offering a hand, making eye contact and smiling. One universal way to let someone know you are not interested in engaging is hands to the heart in a 'namaste' or prayer form. Please respect a "NO' and don’t take it personally, just redirect yourself and keep dancing.

BARE FEET - no outside shoes in the space, if needed indoor dance shoes can be worn
SET YOUR-CELL FREE - Please leave your technology in your car or bag!
SUBSTANCE FREE - This is mind-altering-substance free environment, this is a sacred space.

~Please bring a re-usable water bottle, there is well water on tap

7-7:20 Arrival and warm-up set
7:20-9 EarthDancer Ecstatic Dance set
9-10:30 Potluck and community connection + more music

Sliding scale energy exchange of $10-15 (cash only)
Kids welcome at no extra charge but must be accompanied by one adult per child
